Yoga Teacher Training isn't just for budding teachers. This course is a transformational journey that will change your life. You will explore the Dhirata style of yoga with Megan, which steps into strength, gravity and inner calmness. If you love yoga you will be amazed at how the teachings are designed to give you the skills to really feel and live the practice. This course is going to help you 'join the dots' so that the practice makes more sense to you and then you can help it make more sense for others. 

You will be entering into the micro world of yoga, peering in as if through a microscope on what really matters and makes a difference. Through anatomy and physiology, the study of asana, cleansing and pranayama you will refine and develop your skills. Learning the physical aspects of yoga practice properly and safely gives us the courage to move forward and share.

Love is gravity, that which holds us to the divine inside

Yoga is like the map that provides you with the pathway home. 

Those that have trod the path before you knew that through discipline and letting go of what binds you, you can have a direct experience with your inner most self and the spark of the divine that is within you. Learning and developing an understanding of the more subtle yogic physiology, philosophy, history and stories will help to put the colour into your practice. Chanting, kirtan and meditation create the space for direct experience of yourself in action and in stillness. The gravity that holds you in your own space. 

These practices help us to feel love and see love around us, even in the most obscure places. We are in this together and will learn about supporting and being supported, two of the qualities most needed for a yoga teacher.

Service comes from a place of inner calmness; with clarity, we can teach 

You weren't meant to have an ordinary life; if you were, yoga would never have found you. And you would never have found us. Our community of yogis are all on a path to healing on every level. I am a firm believer that if you really want to know about something teach it. The most beautiful part about the yoga teachers path, is that you learn all the tools for an amazing life of health and happiness on the way. This isn't without its challenges and what amazing life never had a challenge?

Together we will gently press through life's ups and downs over the year, with the goal of understanding how we can better serve ourselves and others. 

To be in a position to serve is such an honour, and if you can do that from a place of inner calmness it becomes an exchange rather than a drain of energy.
