What's New?

Hey Yoga Friends,

Since January 1st 2014 I have been a busy bee updating my website and my Facebook. I have started Instagram, which I have to admit is fun. I now have an online booking system up and running so that all you folk can book into classes and enrol in events like Intensives, Retreats and Yoga Treks and generally, I hope, make Yoga in Forster, Pacific Palms, Bungwahl, and wherever I pop up teaching, more accessable :)

After 13 years I started back teaching at the Forster YMCA, which is fun and with all the changes and upgrading that they have done, it feels like a whole new gig! Well that is except the gorgeous familiar faces from way back when :) Its good to be back!

I have posted up some info on the March Meditation Retreat @ Stroud, so check that out as its worth the trip for a lovely quiet rejuvenating weekend!

I also have quite a bit of interest swelling for the Mustang Yoga Trek in Nepal in May, so please check that out too on the Mustang Yoga Trek page, you can download an itinerary. Only 4 spaces left, so don't miss out.

I have been into a wonderful 21 Day cleanse which not only covers lots of green juices, smoothies and copious amounts of fresh salads but also includes a minimum of 15mins meditation each day, time in nature, dry skin brushing, jala neti (hahaha I love it), some sort of movement of your body for at least 35 minutes EVERY DAY!

Yoga is a great start to the day for everyone by stretching out sleepy bodies, stimulating circulation, getting the digestive juices fired up for the days 'incoming' and setting a gorgoeus attitude to carry with you as your day unfolds.

Kris Carr who designed the 21 day cleanse also adds in a most gorgeous array of affirmations, prayers and tips about life that make you laugh and step up to your Self in a most wonderous way.......I'm having fun but at the same time having a detox and sorting out some of my stuff.

I love that life is a work in progress and that each day is a mystery to unfold! Take care and back to some philosophy soon :) MJx

I would like to acknowledge all of the indigenous cultures, spiritual practices and rituals that have informed my understanding of what it means to be walking this life as a conduit between heaven and earth, consciousness and the Great mother.

Let us pay tribute to the spiritual lineages and collective ancestry that has drawn us to each other.

I would like to acknowledge how beautiful it is to live on Worimi Country and I hope that the spiritual work I do

in some way supports the indigenous cultures of this land, sea and sky.

~
